One of the ways conservatives and republicans are discredited is to label them as uneducated or stupid. Americans were told time and time again that George Bush was stupid. Obama is, of course, smart---no very smart---and "reads". I heard the media elites state that it was "going to be good to have a president who reads". Just for the record---Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity are just republicans who minic the tactics of Democratic leaders and their activist media friends.
Recently I heard a radio caller state that the republican party was represented by the uneducated as demonstrated by the breakdown of red and blue states. The South and the Midwest voted red. The caller stated that Southerners were uneducated and bigoted and thus the Republican party was the party of the "uneducated".
For whom are the uneducated voting? A look at a map of the 2008 election broken down by counties shows that many of the counties that swung the elections for Obama were the large cities. Now.... (this logic is just as sound as the radio caller and the liberal media elites)... where are our best schools and our worst schools? Our FAILING schools are largely found in the inner cities, the areas that carried Obama to victory. Thus we can conclude that Obama voters are uneducated.
Still clinging to my guns and religion......

Ivanka Trump once said that her greatest asset was being underestimated by others. People knew she was Donald Trumps daughter, but she also recognized that people did not expect her to be as smart as she was (hey she was a gorgeous blonde woman so they figured she did not need smarts.
Every great war general also knows that being underestimated by the enemy is the best way to win, as long as you have something to win with.
During the war of Northern Aggression (aka Civil War), the South really WAS poor and uneducated and underfunded. They did not have the resources to win. Now ... the South is increasingly the economic engine while the northeast is increasingly deprived. The west is increasingkly self-consumed.
Southerners will remain underestimated until the time to prove the superiority of our core values arrives. Then it will be too late for the unsuspecting opponents. I pity them already!
